Birthday in Salzburg

Last week, on Tuesday 20th November, it was my birthday here in Salzburg! I had a great day, firstly I woke up and it was sunny and not too cold.

I went out to lunch (on a week day!) with my two Australian friends, Michele and Virginia. 

Then later that day at uni they organised a cake and all the other students in the course sang me Happy Birthday in many different languages. 

Then when we went to our Vocal Ensemble class our teacher Reinhold and the class sang me Happy Birthday in English and German at the end of class. It really was a happy birthday. 

On the weekend my twin sister arrived from Berlin and we got to celebrate our birthday together, which isn't what usually happens when I'm in Australia.
